No matter which fabric your Calgan Recliner lounge suite is covered in, the same cleaning and care tips apply (except for a handful of fabric-specific guidelines* to follow)

Cleaning spills

Wipe spills immediately and do not allow liquids to sit on the surface. Use a soft cloth or sponge that has been wrung out so it is only damp, not wet, and finish by patting the area dry with a clean towel. In most cases, a damp cloth is all that is required.

No chemicals

Only clean your Calgan lounge suite with clean, warm water on a soft cloth. Never use chemicals, household cleaners, dishwashing liquids, or abrasive products, as these can dull the finish, cause fading, scratch the surface, or make the material brittle over time.

Taking care of dust

Vacuum or dust the suite regularly as part of your normal cleaning routine, paying attention to seams and folds where dust and odours can build up. Clean the arm areas frequently, as they are exposed to perspiration and food residue. Avoid placing the suite in direct sunlight or near heaters.

Calgan’s Leather Upper suites are upholstered in part genuine leather and part leather looks. The middle backrest, the seating area and top front of arms are all genuine leather.
Leather Look
Our embossed ranges have unique embossed patterns which makes it look like leather grains. These fabrics 100% polyester fabric. They are soft to the touch and easy to maintain.
